THIRD WARD CONDO

This is my personal bathroom. My primary mission? A deep soaking tub. Huge thanks to my friend Ryan Houge at The Kohler Signature Store for helping make my tub dreams a reality. I tested countless tubs before finding "the one"—it holds the heat, cradles me perfectly, and lets me actually straighten my legs while offering full back support. Bliss.

The upgrade highlights:

  - The Multi-Function Shower: A normal shower experience, but with a touch of a button it transforms into a massage spray or a gentle mist for face mask removal. I also added a handshower... mostly to elevate Etta's spa day when she rolls in ALL the mud at the dog park and requires a high-end restoration!
  - The Tile & Countertops: Lakeside Stoneworks did all the original tile and countertops when I moved into the Marine Terminal Building in 2006. One installer even remembered fitting my original counters back then! The Fine Line helped me curate the perfect new tile to tie it together.
  - Finishes & Decor: My friend Iftekhar at Design Within Reach helped me sourc the sleekest accessories, and I finally got to use the iconic Kelly Wearstler wallpaper I’ve coveted forever. That stunning Sarah Sherman Samuel mirror was the final piece of the puzzle—and worth the hunt.
  - Cabinet Restoration: Wauwatosa Cabinetworks gave my original cherry cabinets a light sanding and a matte finish. Neighbors keep asking if they're brand new! Nope, just a little luxury facelift.
